You are in a position of authority. People report to you. They do your bidding. But, leadership can be a constant struggle.

Why don't subordinates contribute willingly? Why do they stop growing? Why can't you trust them? Why don't they trust you?

Such questions trouble every leader. And the answers escape most. This course is designed to give you insights to help you resolve your leadership issues.

Care and Growth 101 teaches the essential ideas of the Care and Growth Leadership Model for all in any position of leadership.

Care and Growth Model:

The Care and Growth Model posits that the key variable that accounts for the success of any Organisation is the degree to which it's members commit to the objectives of the Organisation, pursue them because they want to rather than because they have to and are willing to commit discretionary effort toward their achievement.

This course explores and engages the learner in discovering the sort of leadership that creates these conditions, that not only focuses on personal excellence, but also on mobilising others.

On the Care and Growth Leadership Model:

"The power of this theory lies in its authenticity. This is not just another guideline or inspirational [message] – it speaks to the fundamental value system of a leader. I support Volker Hoogberg's view that: 'The insights that Etsko so ably articulates .. are fresh, basic and consistently helpful to all those who reflect on what they can do for others'."

Francois Hugo, HR Director, First National Bank

"A wake up call for managers who would strive to be leaders. Etsko Schuitema transforms the words 'power' and 'empowerment' into living, breathing ways of human interaction. Authentic leaders earn respect of others , rather than demanding it."

Dr. Denis Waitley, author of 'The Seeds of Greatness'

"In identifying the traits of a leader, Etsko has redefined leadership: it is not about power structures or privilege or advantage; rather, it is natural leadership, concerned with authentic personal traits which gain natural recognition amongst fellow humans."

Ramla Akhtar, founder of 'The Changemakers Hub'
